1. Ignore your rear-view mirror. Focus on the wing-mirrors.
2. If the trailer starts to turn further into view in your right mirror, bring your right hand down to turn the steering wheel.
3. Do the opposite for the left – bringing your left hand down on the steering wheel if the trailer turns towards the left mirror.
