How to use Hill Descent Control in a Ford Ranger

When tackling tough hills, you can let Ranger do the hard work.

Hill Descent Control lets the Ford Ranger control its drive itself down steep inclines.

Press the button, put the Ranger into Drive and take your foot off the brake. Ford’s Hill Descent Control technology will now brake individual wheels to maintain Ranger’s descent at your pre-set speed.

Use cruise control buttons to adjust to the speed you want and use the brake to slow like you normally would.
